Direct connection: Provider connection required (Intuit connector must be configured). File-based import is available without it.
What this does
The connector reads your QuickBooks Online company with read-only access — KontoCore never writes back to QuickBooks.
Lists, transactions, and balances are imported into the source mirror, then mapped and verified.
How to
Connect and import
- 1Choose QuickBooks Online and Connect.
- 2Sign in to Intuit and approve read-only access.
- 3Select strategy and cutoff date.
- 4Continue with mapping and verification as in Migrating to KontoCore.
What the source does not expose
- The bank-feed ‘For review’ queue — re-import or re-link bank activity in KontoCore after the cutoff.
- Reliable historical reconciliation state — start reconciliations in KontoCore from the cutoff statement.
- Detailed payroll records — payroll arrives as summarized journals; keep payroll detail in your payroll system.
- Attachments may need separate export depending on access.
Troubleshooting
