Provider connection required: an Intuit app connection must be configured for your KontoCore environment.
What this does
The QuickBooks Online connector signs in to Intuit on your behalf and copies your data into a read-only source mirror for review. Most problems come from the connection setup rather than your data.
If the connector is unavailable, use the file-based path: export reports and lists from QuickBooks and import them through the Migration Center.
Before you start
- Have QuickBooks admin access to the company you want to migrate.
- Know whether it is a live company or an Intuit sandbox (test) company.
How to
Connect
- 1Open Migration Center → QuickBooks Online and choose Connect.
- 2Sign in to Intuit, choose the company, and approve access.
- 3You return to KontoCore; the status shows Connected and the company name.
Redirect URI rules
After you approve access, Intuit sends you back to a fixed return address (the redirect URI). It must match exactly what is registered with Intuit, or sign-in fails.
- It must end in the exact callback path shown on the connector status card, with no extra query string or fragment.
- Live QuickBooks companies require an https address on the published app — not a preview or local address.
- Sandbox companies may use test addresses, but live and sandbox connections are configured separately.
Troubleshooting
“Connector not configured”
The workspace administrator hasn’t completed the Intuit connection setup. Use file-based import meanwhile, or contact support.
“Redirect URI must end exactly in …”
The registered return address doesn’t match. Your administrator must correct it in both the Intuit app settings and KontoCore, then try again.
Sign-in loops back to Intuit
Clear the Intuit session, ensure pop-ups/third-party cookies aren’t blocked, and start Connect again from the published app address.
Connection expired
Intuit access expires. Choose Reconnect; already-imported data stays in the source mirror.
Wrong company imported
Disconnect, then connect again and pick the correct company in Intuit’s chooser.
Totals don’t match after import
Compare control totals (trial balance, AR, AP) on the review step. Open differences are listed; nothing posts until you accept.
