What this does
A recurring template stores customer, lines, terms, and a schedule (weekly, monthly, yearly, custom). On each date KontoCore creates an invoice — as a draft for review, or posted, depending on the template.
Changing the template affects future invoices only.
How to
Create a schedule
- 1Open Sales → Recurring → New.
- 2Choose customer, lines, and terms.
- 3Set start date, frequency, and end (never, after N, on date).
- 4Choose Create draft or Post automatically, then save.
Statuses and lifecycle
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Active | Creating invoices on schedule. |
| Paused | No new invoices until resumed. |
| Ended | Series complete. |
Corrections, voids, and reversals
- Void or credit individual invoices; edit the template for future ones.
Permissions
- Owners, administrators, and users with bookkeeping permission can create and post. View-only users can read but not change records.
What happens in your books
Nothing posts until an invoice is created; each invoice posts like any other.
Common mistakes
- Choosing Post automatically when quantities or prices vary each period.
Troubleshooting
Invoice wasn’t created
The template is paused or ended, or the start date is in the future.
