Personal connections
What Personal connections exist, which require a provider — live bank, card, brokerage, cloud spreadsheet — and how to work without them using import and manual entry.

Personal → Connections · Personal → Sources
Every live connection requires a compatible provider. None is required to use Personal.
What this does
Connections list each data source and its status. Live aggregation for banks, cards, and investment accounts, and periodic sync with cloud spreadsheets, require compatible providers.
Without a provider, use spreadsheet import, manual entry, and receipt upload — Personal is fully usable that way. Sources keep where every record came from so later connections converge rather than duplicate.
How to
Connect a source
- 1Open Personal → Connections.
- 2Choose the source; if its provider isn’t available, the screen says so and offers import instead.
- 3Review incoming items in the review queue.
Availability
| Connection | Status |
|---|---|
| CSV / XLSX import | Available in prelaunch |
| Live bank and card aggregation | Provider connection required |
| Live investment aggregation (WealthKraft) | Provider connection required |
| OneDrive / Google Sheets periodic sync | Provider connection required |
| Windows watch-folder automation | Companion app required |
What happens in your books
Connected activity arrives for review; it doesn’t change balances until confirmed or matched.
Common mistakes
- Importing a spreadsheet and then connecting the same account without reviewing matches.
Troubleshooting
