In plain English
Financial Truth keeps asking: do the books agree with the bank, is every important transaction supported, and does anything look inconsistent? When something doesn’t add up, it tells you exactly what and why.
What this does
Deterministic controls — balanced entries, reconciliation status, closed periods, duplicate detection, subledger-to-ledger agreement — run on every plan and cannot be overridden by automation.
Findings are specific and fact-based: the record, the check that failed, and the evidence.
On Autonomous, the Financial Truth Engine adds deep integrity scans, evidence requests, root-cause analysis, month-end intelligence, and governed autonomous bookkeeping.
How to
Work findings
- 1Open Financial Truth → Findings.
- 2Filter by severity or area.
- 3Open a finding to see the check, the records, and the evidence.
- 4Resolve it (correct the record, attach evidence) or dismiss it with a reason; dismissals are recorded.
Where AI fits
AI assistance proposes actions — a category, a match, an evidence request. Your organization’s policy decides whether a proposal is drafted for review or may execute automatically, and approved changes still go through the same posting controls as manual work. Uncertain or novel items go to review. AI is never the accounting authority.
Common mistakes
- Dismissing findings in bulk without reasons.
- Assuming a high Books Health result is an audit opinion.
