What this does
Contractor vendors carry W-9 details and a 1099 box mapping. KontoCore totals reportable payments by year so you can review readiness before filing.
How to
Set up a contractor
- 1Open the vendor and enable Track for 1099.
- 2Enter legal name, tax classification, and address from the W-9; upload the W-9 document.
- 3Map expense accounts to the correct 1099 box.
Protect taxpayer IDs
Store the W-9 in documents and enter the TIN only in the designated protected field — never in memos or notes.
