Built – unverified (prelaunch). Human certification pending.
What this does
Core shared report surfaces (for example profit and loss, balance sheet, trial balance, general ledger, and aging) export to CSV and XLSX.
Exports include the company/books name, filters, basis, as-of or date range, and generated-at time.
PDF output uses your browser’s Print / Save as PDF with a print-friendly layout. There is no separate native PDF generator.
How to
Export
- 1Open the report and set dates, basis, and filters.
- 2Choose Export → CSV or Excel (XLSX).
- 3For PDF, choose Print and select Save as PDF.
What can be exported
| Surface | CSV | XLSX | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Core financial and aging reports | Yes | Yes | Print / Save as PDF |
| Interactive and custom report views | Varies | Not on every view | Print / Save as PDF |
| Payroll reports | CSV | Not supported | Print / Save as PDF |
Corrections, voids, and reversals
- Re-run and re-export after correcting source data; old files are not updated.
Audit trail
- Exports reflect posted data at generation time, stamped in the file.
Availability and provider notes
- Built – unverified: this workflow exists in the prelaunch product but has not yet completed human certification. Review results before relying on them.
- No external provider is required.
Permissions
- Anyone who can view a report can export it. Exported files leave KontoCore’s access controls — store them securely.
What happens in your books
Exports are read-only copies; they never change your books.
Common mistakes
- Editing exported figures and treating them as the books.
Troubleshooting
No XLSX option
That view doesn’t support XLSX yet; use CSV or print.
