What this does
Costs reach a project from bills, expenses, time entries, and allocations. Advanced adds cost codes and cost types, project budgets, equipment usage, and labor burden allocation.
How to
Track costs on a project
- 1Tag bill and expense lines with the project (and cost code on Advanced).
- 2Record time entries against the project.
- 3Review Budget vs Actual on the project page.
Common mistakes
- Leaving overhead untagged and concluding a project is more profitable than it is.
